More fun with the new Renault Twingo electric ! If you’re used to driving in the city, this little city car, which completes Renault’s electric range, is made for you. Don’t be afraid to take on city traffic with ease !

Iconic design of the small city car Renault Twingo electric

This Renault Twingo e has the same features as its internal combustion counterparts, namely the Renault Zoe and the Clio 4. Why is this? It’s a way of facilitating the industrialization of the model, which allows Renault to make savings.

It is sparkling, customizable and still as easy to handle as ever. Renault Twingo electric has lost none of its charm. It retains all the features that have made it a city-dweller’s best friend.

On the body, the differences are minimal. The front design grille and the side trim are blue. On the other hand, the central pillar and the bottom of the tailgate are animated by badges, and the center of the rims are blue.

This electric city car may be small on the outside, but on the inside, it is still spacious. It hasn’t lost a single cubic inch. So take a seat in the heart of a well thought-out and colorful interior!

The dashboard is also 100% electric. In the blink of an eye, you can find all the information that will simplify your driving. From the 7-inch touchscreen, discover your multimedia universe and connected services via “EASY LINK” or the “My Renault” application.

The upholstery, steering wheel inserts, dashboard surrounds and air vents can all be customized thanks to the numerous color combinations. All you have to do is choose your atmosphere and create the interior of the Renault Twingo electric that suits you. It’s up to you!

Renault Twingo electric : Storage side

The trunk has a capacity of 240 liters. What’s more, thanks to its flat floor and fully folding front seat, the Renault Twingo ZE is 2.31 meters long. That’s plenty of room for luggage, skis and other items.

Need to get more organized? No problem! Additional clever storage compartments can be found throughout the new Twingo electric’s functional cabin. Rear door bins, nets under the rear seats, as well as a central storage area. They’re everywhere!

Renault Twingo ZE’s engine

The 60kW (82hp) electric motor is derived from the Renault Zoe’s engine block. This block is located at the rear of the vehicle, under the floor. A strategic location that does not result in any loss of trunk space, and allows a maximum volume of 240 liters.

Its 160 Nm of torque is sent to the rear wheels, as with petrol cars. Weighing just 1,168kg, it accelerates from 0 to 50km/h in 4.2 seconds. The Renault Twingo ZE thus combines the agility and handling of a city car with the dynamism of an electric motor. It is indeed the most electrifying Twingo ever!

Battery: what is its autonomy ?

The Renault Twingo e is equipped with a 22kWh lithium-ion battery. This provides 190 km of WLTP range on a full cycle, and up to 270 km on an urban cycle.

But beware, the charging times and autonomy levels depend on different criteria that are important to take into account. The outside temperature, the power of the charging station, the way of driving, as well as the state of charge of the battery.

You can own the battery of your Renault Twingo electric. Its charge capacity is guaranteed at 70% of its original capacity for 8 years or 160,000 km.

How to recharge the Renault Twingo electric ?

In order to recharge the battery of your Renault Twingo electric, three different ways are available to you:

At home : You are in a hurry and you have no time to lose before taking the road ? Don’t panic! To recharge your Renault Twingo electric, you can install a 7.4kW charging station at home. The battery can be recharged from 0% to 100% in just 4 hours. Not bad, eh?

Some companies make them available for the convenience of their employees. By the end of the day, your Renault Twingo e is ready to hit the road. Let’s get going!
On public charging stations: Play fast and loose with the Cameleon charger. In only 1 hour, you can recover up to 80% of your charge, and up to 80 km of autonomy in only 30 minutes! Go for it!

By pressing the “Eco” button on the center console of your Renault Twingo ZE, acceleration and maximum speed are limited, increasing the range to 225 km WLTP. See further… and longer!

Charging time

The Renault brand has equipped its Renault Twingo electric with a charging system with less capacity than that of the Zoe. However, the maximum AC power is 22 kW, despite the absence of a CCS Combo plug and DC power.
