The <strong>Tucson Hybrid<\/strong> has dynamic geometry and flowing lines. The headlights and daytime running lights with mirror effect completely adopt the design of the grille. Once switched on, the light signature is unique and high-tech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the rear, the LED lights echo the stylish theme of the front end. To bring a sporty and dynamic feel, Hyundai offers a &#8220;Z&#8221; shaped character line, as well as a parabolic chrome bead that extends from the exterior mirrors, to the rear of the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once again, Hyundai wanted to make a statement, this time by breaking with the tradition of automotive logos. The Hyundai emblem on the surface of the tailgate is made of smooth glass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The latter offers a 3D aspect, decidedly high-tech. Also, when inactive, the rear window wiper is hidden under the rear spoiler. A first for the brand!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, with the new vibrant colors: Shimmering and Teal Blue, the compact SUV offers a total of eight colors. But that&#8217;s not all! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To further personalize your Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, the contrasting roof: Phantom Black or Dark Knight is available as an option. The whole thing is mounted on 17 or 19 inch alloy wheels. All you have to do is choose the right combination!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inside<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Step inside a spacious and sophisticated interior. The materials are of high quality and tastefully chosen. Space, technology and information are harmoniously conveyed. It&#8217;s like stepping into an impeccably tidy room, where everyday worries fade away\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For comfort, the steering wheel is heated and offers better ergonomics. Also, there are paddles for shifting gears, voice recognition with which you can adjust the temperature, infotainment, or even the trunk opening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the center of the dashboard, in the charging cradle and in the storage bins, the <strong>Hyundai hybrid Tucson<\/strong> SUV shines brightly. With 64 colors and ten levels of intensity, the ambient lighting can be configured as desired. It&#8217;s not Versailles here! Yes, it is! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, nothing beats the lighting of the panoramic sunroof (optional). In addition to providing natural light, it lets a gentle breeze into the cabin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, to complete the package, there are three interior colors to choose from: Full Black, Biton Light Grey, and Black with Teal inserts. To highlight the materials, a double chrome line is present, whatever your choice. It stretches from the center console to the tailgate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dimensions and trunk volume<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/on-my-bike.com\/kia-sportage-hybrid\/\">Kia Sportage<\/a> and Hyundai Tucson share the same platform, hybrid engine and even their dimensions! With a length of 4.50 meters, a width of 1.86 meters and a height of 1.65 meters, they are both in the compact SUV category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of size, the main competitors are the <a href=\"https:\/\/on-my-bike.com\/renault-austral\/\">Renault Austral E-Tech<\/a>, where pre-orders have been open since June 30, 2022, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in early December 2022. The <a href=\"https:\/\/on-my-bike.com\/citroen-c5-aircross-hybrid\/\">Citro\u00ebn C5 Aircross<\/a>, or the <a href=\"https:\/\/on-my-bike.com\/peugeot-3008-hybrid\/\">Peugeot 3008<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cargo volume offered by the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid is a nice amount of storage space. With the seats in place, the trunk offers 546 to 616 liters, and up to 1,795 liters with the seats folded. A little bonus: the trunk opens automatically when the key is detected. Handy if you have your hands full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Motorization and performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the hood, the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid features a 180 hp 1.6T-GDI Smartstream 4-cylinder gasoline engine. This gasoline block is combined with a 60 hp electric motor block, powered by a small, high-performance 1.49 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together, this type of engine has a maximum power of 230 hp and up to 350 Nm of torque. To drive the four wheels, the whole is controlled with a six-speed automatic transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of performance, Hyundai claims a top speed of 193 km\/h and a 0 to 100 km\/h time of 8 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does the hybrid work on the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s simple, you don&#8217;t have to do anything. The Hyundai Tucson Hybrid analyzes your driving. Depending on the situation, it switches between the combustion engine and the electric motor. During any deceleration, the electric motor allows to recharge the battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This accumulated kinetic energy then powers the electric motor to increase acceleration, uphill driving and low speed. The SUV does not have a B mode that intensifies regeneration like its competitor the Volkswagen Tiguan hybrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consumption and CO2 emissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed to reduce fuel consumption without sacrificing driving pleasure, the carmaker announces a WLTP consumption between 5.6 and 5.7 l\/100 km, for a CO2 emission between 127 and 131 g\/km. With the 52-liter tank of the Hyundai hybrid Tucson, the range is theoretically 881 km on average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With these few figures, you escape the ecological malus, but as a hybrid car, you unfortunately do not benefit from the ecological bonus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Optimal security<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For a smoother ride, Hyundai has developed a number of advanced driving assistance systems, such as Autonomous Emergency Braking with Intersection, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Intelligent High Beam, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Camera Display, eCall Automatic Emergency Call, and Remote Parking Control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hyundai also enhances your peace of mind and safety with innovative features such as an optimized seven-airbag system, which includes a front row center side airbag. This means that in the event of a collision, front-seat passengers avoid bumping into each other. The risk of serious injury is reduced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Hyundai, safety is also important to your children. this finish brings change to the vehicle&#8217;s exterior. The front end is eye-catching with an N Line grille, a silver-colored skid plate, and a bumper that features tapered air intakes and black Bi-LED light surrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wheel arches, in the body colors, give an accent to the dynamism and fluidity of the lines. The rear reveals the sporty DNA of the N range with the bumper that integrates a double exhaust outlet, topped by a large red reflective strip that acts as a reflector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To reinforce the sporty character, the extended roof spoiler features discreet fins. The Tucson N Line comes with special 19-inch wheels and is the only one that can be painted in &#8220;Shadow Grey&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interior: state-of-the-art comfort<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the automotive industry, sports car interiors are often black, and the Tucson N Line is no exception to this rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The black seats in perforated leather and alcantara are appreciable and offer optimal comfort and excellent lumbar support. The aluminum-style pedals and the perforated leather steering wheel are equally impressive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To reinforce the sportiness, stitching is found throughout. On the upholstery, the steering wheel, the door trim, the center armrest and the dashboard. A must-have!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the instruments, nothing has changed. The 10.25-inch screens of the digital instrumentation and infotainment system are still there. They are as pleasant to look at as to touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From a technical point of view<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, the presentation is sportier than the other Tucsons, but on the other hand the engine is strictly identical from a technical point of view. We find the thermal engine associated with the electric motor and its Lithium-ion battery. Therefore, the power is the same, as well as the performance, the average consumption and the CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the price of the new Hyundai Tucson hybrid?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Korean manufacturer has announced a price starting at \u20ac34,950 for the entry-level Intuitive, and starting at \u20ac45,350 for the top-of-the-line N Line trim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prices are high, but the equipment is substantial and the competition is not far behind.
